What a great lake! It's deep, it's blue and it is full of fun. Most of the popular cities surround the lake either on the north shore or the south. It takes about 45 minutes to drive one way, and 2 hours to do the loop. You will find plenty of boat rentals at the marinas or through specialty shops. From river boat cruises to kayak rentals, playing on the lake is what people do in Tahoe. Be advised, the water is cold, however that never stops anyone.
