Skate Parks

Eoowzahas! The evil geniuses over at Wormhoudt skatepark design delivered the goods on this banger out in North Lake Tahoe, CA. - aka Truckee.

While the skatepark is full of snow some parts of the year, we've seen guys in hoodies carving lines in January. The park is actually dry for most of the year when it offers up perfects hips that would make Jennifer Lopez look like an eight year old boy. No doubt, this is one of California's best parks for the hessian session.

On the South Shore there is Bijou Park, South Lake Tahoe California - To get to Bijou Park, from Highway 50 turn on Al Tahoe Rd (by Denny''s) and go about a mile until you see the sign for Bijou Community Park on the left. It's right by the basketball courts.

The Parks and Recreation commission maintains many of the local parks including the North Tahoe Regional Park, along with Tahoe Vista Recreation area and the Coon Street Boat Launch facility

Please wear a helmet and pads, unlike this yahoo!
If you're on a tour to find great skate parks, Mammoth Lakes also has a skate park sponsored by Volcom.
