Cross Country Skiing, a New Experience

Afraid of heights, speed, weak knees, bad back, but sill like the outdoors? Think cross country skiing. The latest winter trend is to move from alpine skiing, which can be hard on the body, to X Country for a "gliding" experience. Many older folks are moving over to the"dark side" to take the chance of injury out of their winter ski experience. Groomed trails are the way to go for beginners, and we recommend lessons or a personal guide to help you the first few times out to learn the correct techniques. Then off you go on your smooth glide in a cross country track. Wow!
