Fun in Lake Tahoe on the Bike Trails

Bike trails are everywhere as regular biking and mountain biking are one of the most popular summer sports in Tahoe. Most ski resorts, Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows and Heavenly Valley convert to Mountain Bike Parks in summer months The street trails for regular riding run all around the lake, a cool 60 mile heart throbbing trip. Many of the trail maps are online and you can lay out your course and make it as mild or aggressive as you like. The ride up to Emerald Bay is beautiful... and it's downhill on the way back.
