Getting Around The Lake Without A Car

We know most people drive to Lake Tahoe from the San Francisco Bay area. But did you know you don't need to? If you get yourself to the Reno Airport, you can take public transportation from there. North Tahoe Express along with the ski shuttles can move you to your hotel or condo, and then the free transit system will take you to the ski slopes. You can even do the same thing in South Shore. It is much easier than you think and certainly the way to go, especially if you don't like driving. Public Transportation also helps to keep Lake Tahoe Green!
