Storms Drop 2 Feet of Snow on Lake Tahoe

Ski conditions are nothing less than amazing in North Lake Tahoe, with two feet of new snow hitting the higher elevations since last Thursday (1/23/09) . The weather has been extremely favorable for skiers with snow, cold, at the higher elevations, leaving the streets and towns barely touched. Snow fell at 7500 feet which gave all the major resorts a nice new surface just when they needed it. Heavenly Valley is reporting a great base with full operations.
