Weather is the News

After a brief visit from the Snow Gods, Lake Tahoe received some nice snow to help cool down the area. Fall temperatures continue and the snow... well has become nice water for the trees, which are changing colors from green to bright yellow and red. This means that Autumn mountain bikers, hikers and kayakers can still enjoy the warmer weather. The ski areas are looking at a mid November start date if all conditions work together and plenty of snow for the Christmas Holiday without making any man-made. Pumpkin Festivals and October fest happen the month of October, and the Harvest festivals are in November. It is a wonderful time of the year to get away before the hectic start of the holiday season. Prices are lower on condo rentals in Lake Tahoe this time of the year.
