An easy day trip from Reno - Soda Springs is located just off I-80 at Donner Summit. Exit Soda Springs and follow the signs. Sacramento is just 80 miles, San Francisco 170 miles, and Reno just 48 miles.

Snow Tubing Rates
Snow tubing tows operate from 10am-4pm. Snow tubes are provided. Personal tubes and sleds are not permitted.

All Ages $15

Children are welcome on tubing tows at a minimum of 42 inches tall. Height restrictions are for the safety of our riders. You must have the ability to drag your feet from the tube to control your speed. Conditions may dictate age or height restrictions and operating hours.

Planet Kids (Geared for kids ages 10 and under) $10

New for Soda's little visitors. For kids under 42" tall, Soda now has a tubing carousel open weekends & holidays (starting mid-November) from 10am to 3pm. Designed for ages 10 and under, kids can enjoy a tubing lane, tube carousel and.....

Planet Kids' main feature is a NEW! Moving carpet designed to help kids go up the small slope and we'll teach them how to get down. Just a short 40 foot slope gives us plenty of room for kids to learn to stop and turn. Rental equipment is included and located right at Planet Kids. Look for the flags in the base area.

Mini Snowmobiles
Kids ages 6-12 - can hop on their very own pint-sized snowmobile and try out the sport of snowmobiling - kid style.
